“Having a Child and a Family Has Helped Me Live in the Moment” Bradley Cooper Explains How Fatherhood Changed Him

Amazing

Most of us know Bradley Copper for his roles in movies that won awards and made people feel a wide range of emotions. But when it comes to the ups and down of being a parent, he has to deal with changing diapers and toddler tantrums just like the rest of us.

We at Impresionante can totally relate to the story this famous dad told about how becoming a father changed him.

From couple to co-parents.

Over the years, Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk chose to keep their relationship quiet. They were seen together for the first time in April 2015 in New York. The next month, they went on a trip to London, where they held hands and kissed a lot.

Until then, their relationship was exposed to the public in November 2016, when Shayk showed off her baby bump at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and a ring with an emerald on her finger.

From A Star is Born to the birth of his own daughter.

Cooper, 47, and Shayk, 36, had their daughter Lea de Seine in March 2017. In a new interview about Cooper’s directorial debut with the movie A Star is Born, he was asked how fatherhood has changed him. According to him, this allowed him to embrace his childlike self without any fear of judgement.

Even though Lea’s parents are no longer together, they have done everything they can to be great co-parents. For her sake, they both want to keep things calm. They will work together so that their daughter is always with one of them. Bradley and Irina will be there when Lea has important events in her life.

Since they broke up, Bradley and Irina have made sure that their daughter has a balanced schedule.

Bradley and Irina split up in June 2019 after four years of dating. Despite agreeing to “shared custody” of their daughter, they avoided each other at all costs.

Thankfully, Bradley and Irina’s relationship has improved as time has gone by. There have been no disputes with Lea’s timetable. Bradley is often busy and has films scheduled back-to-back, but he finds time to be with Lea.

Being a parent has put things in perspective for him.

Cooper said, “Fatherhood is… everything changed.” According to him, being a father to a wonderful person completely changes or puts everything in a different light.

“You have this wonderful thing or breakthrough with a script, or you have a wonderful moment on this set or in an editing room … you have like 40 of those moments every day with your kid, that are that level of joy. That’s not spinning it, that’s just the truth,” says the actor.

He is a dedicated father to Lea, his 5-year-old daughter.

He said that every moment, even when they were changing diapers, was the best of his life. Even though there are problems every day, Bradley shared what he wants Lea to learn from the way he raises her. “I just want her to always feel loved,” he said. “That’s what I want for my daughter.”

He also said that Lea has taught him a few things. “I guess having a child and a family of my own, which is a miracle and something I’ve always dreamed of, has made me more open to the day and to being in the moment,” he said with awe.

Lea has had a big effect on her well-known father.

He revealed the blonde hair and blue eyes of his daughter remind him of his late father, Charles J. Cooper. He said, “Our daughter, she’s incredible. And I see my father in her quite often. I can’t believe I’m gonna admit this, but I had moments when … I was in the room with [Lea], I would say, ‘Dad?’ There are some moments where she looks just like my father.”

Cooper never hesitates to say that becoming a dad has completely changed his life and the way he sees the world. The actor is known for keeping his family life private, so he probably won’t say anything about his plans to have more kids.

How do you feel about Bradley Cooper being a dad? What’s a moment with your child that you’ll always remember and that changed your life?
